Contexte :

Questionnement sur le principe de disparition. Mise en forme des documents d’études de Sandia Laboratory sur l’enfouissement des déchets nucléaires pour 10 000 ans et l’étude des méthodes de transmission de l’information à long terme.

Cette transmission est étudiée par le biais de l’utilisation des signes et symboles aux résonances quasi-biologique pour le cerveau humain. La protection du site étant pensée sur la base de réflexes cognitif de l’Homme concernant le danger et sa volonté naturelle de l’éviter. Le but du sujet concernant la « disparition » était de trouver un sujet et de le traiter graphiquement.

J’ai fait le choix de prendre pour objet les documents officiels du ministère de l’énergie des États-Unis d’Amérique afin de faire un développer des différentes études de formes et de procédés qui furent alors étudiés.

Le site nommé WIPP existe encore de nos jours, mais le projet prévu à la base pour 10 000 années de durée de vie a été mis en suspens, les recherches ne permettant pas de trancher arbitrairement ce qui devait être fait pour prévenir au mieux l’intrusion des « humaines du futur » sur le site d’enfouissement. Ces études auront tout de même permis d’établir des signalétiques encore utilisées actuellement dans ce type de sites à travers le monde.

Context :

Questioning the vanishing principle. Formatting of study documents from Sandia Laboratory on the burial of nuclear waste for 10,000 years and the study of the methods of transmission of information in the long term.

This transmission is studied through the use of signs and symbols with quasi-biological resonances for the human brain. The protection of the site being thought on the basis of cognitive reflexes of the Man concerning the danger and its natural will to avoid it. The goal of the subject concerning the "disappearance" was to find a subject and to treat it graphically.

I chose to take as object the official documents of the Department of Energy of the United States of America in order to develop the various studies of forms and processes which were then studied.

The site named WIPP still exists today, but the project, originally planned for a 10,000-year lifespan, was put on hold, as the research did not allow for an arbitrary decision on what should be done to prevent the intrusion of the "humans of the future" on the burial site. These studies have nevertheless allowed the establishment of signs still used in this type of site throughout the world.
